Harsh Times appreciation post.
This movie came out in 2005. Christian Bale's charter plays a soldier that has just came home from war and now doesn't have a job. He wants to get a job being a cop or working with the DEA. But he can't seem to stay out of trouble. He ends up driving around L.A. getting drunk and fucked up with his friend. They end up spending the weekend in Mexico. And then, trying to make some money they try to smuggle 20kg of marijuana back into Los Angeles. It's a really good movie. Here's the trailer...
